Does your child love to draw and explore the outdoors?
Join registered art teacher Jo Ellings for a fun and educational art class where kids can enhance their observational skills and eye-hand coordination through creative activities!
In this class, children will be painting and drawing using:
Pencil
Ink wash
Watercolors
Sketchbooks
Children will:
Observe the fascinating details of birds' feathers, seed pods, flowers, and more
Learn about germinating seedlings and the life cycles of insects
Create a series of drawings and watercolor paintings inspired by the natural world
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to reconnect with nature, enjoy a calm and creative setting, and develop lifelong journaling techniques to capture their observations and travels.
All materials will be provided.
Location: The HIVE Art Gallery, U23/ 5 Coghill Drive, Currumbin Waters.
We take some photos and videos to use as promotional material. By booking into one of our workshops or classes you are giving your consent for us to use these images that you may be included in. We completely respect everyone’s right to choose privacy, so please let us know before the session if you don't wish you or your child to be included in any photos.
Tickets are able to be exchanged or refunded up to 24 hours before the session. Anything after that is up to the ticket holder to either resell, gift or forfeit their ticket. Refunds will not be issued for late-comers and/or last minute cancellations.
