In 2025, The Hive Art Gallery is proud to present "A Celebration of Place" as a series of 3 exhibitions that showcase Gold Coast artists' interpretations of the region's people, places, and lifestyle through visual artworks. These exhibitions provide artists with opportunities to create and share works that celebrate life on the Gold Coast, highlighting the unique character of the city, its residents, and its culture, and providing an opportunity for professional practice in visual arts.

The second in this series at The Hive Art Gallery is Bread on the Table. This vibrant exhibition of still life and figurative work offers a colourful reflection on how and why we grow, make, present and share the things that sustain us!
